Which Phone Is Best?
Madison
It’s the battle against the “S’s”. The iPhone 4S and the Galaxy S II. I want one of these two phones because their both very portable, faster Internet, and they have more qualities than my phone. I found this comparison by Goggling “ iPhone 4s vs Galaxy S.” Then a comparison chart came up on the website Redmond Pie. But the main question is, which phone would be better for me.?
Both phones have there similarities. There both around $200.00, and have dual core processors but the iPhone has a processor from Apple and the Galaxy S II has one from Samsung. But the Galaxy weighs less. Its weighs 4.3 ounces while the iPhone 4s weighs 4.9 ounces, but that’s still not that big of a difference. They both have a lot of storage. But the iPhone 4S can have up to 64GB and the Galaxy can only go up to 48GB
But they also have their differences. Like one big plus for the iPhone is that it has global roaming, which means if I go out of the country I won’t get charged extra if I talk. Another big difference is that the Galaxy runs on 4G network and the iPhone 4s runs on 3G, which means the Galaxy has faster Internet. The Galaxy’s screen size is smaller, its 4.5 inches and the iPhone is 3.5. But that could be a good thing or a bad thing. If you like having a bigger screen than that's the iPhone but if you like having a smaller screen and phone than the Galaxy would be better. For me that really doesn’t matter so it could go either way. But how indestructible the phone is does matter. I looked online to see which phone was more indestructible, and it said that the Galaxy has Gorilla Glass and the iPhone has soda-lime glass. Then the company took a test and dropped each phone three times on concrete. In the end the Galaxy only had a couple of scratches but the iPhone had cracks everywhere. So that’s a big plus to the Galaxy since I’ll probably end up dropping it at least once.
Both phones have a lot of different features about them. They both have front and back cameras which is nice, and video editing. The also both have WiFi. The battery life is both eight hours of talk time. And if you want to download Apps or games than you can download them at app stores. They also both have really good speakers for music.
All in all both phones are really good and have some ups and downs to them, but ultimately I chose the iPhone 4s. Even though it didn't win the indestructible test it just means I'll have to be more careful. But I liked how it has global roaming and how it weighs a little more so I'll always know when it's in my pocket. Personally I'm glad with my over all decision.
